Nasce a Firenze nel 2012 per mano del fondatore Francesco Gagliardi, KIMERA è una band gothic symphonic metal dalle tinte oscure e moderne. Dopo anni di sperimentazione con il dualismo vocale moderno/lirico, oggi si presenta con una line-up compatta a quattro elementi: basso, batteria, chitarra e voce moderna.

Con influenze che spaziano da Epica, Nightwish e Lacuna Coil al nu metal più crudo, KIMERA ha pubblicato due album (Faceless Mirror, 2013 – Rise From Your Grave, 2022) e sta per concludere le registrazioni del terzo, dedicato a temi attuali e profondi con nuove sonorità.

Attualmente indipendenti, puntano a portare la loro musica anche fuori dai confini italiani.

Formed in Florence in 2012 by founder Francesco Gagliardi, KIMERA is a gothic symphonic metal band blending dark atmospheres with modern energy. Initially built around a lyrical/modern vocal dualism, the band now features a solid four-piece lineup: bass, drums, guitar, and modern vocals.

Drawing inspiration from Epica, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, and nu metal influences, KIMERA has released two full-length albums (Faceless Mirror, 2013 – Rise From Your Grave, 2022) and is currently finishing work on their third record, which explores powerful and socially relevant themes and It introduces new sounds.

Currently unsigned, the band is determined to bring their music to international stages.
